Knowing Mingyu is the most popular member and also the visual, im not expecting a lot of Carats to actually behave and react like this. They really hold their idol accountable and the way they handle this situation is very mature and rasional. Not many kpop fans can act like that, and Carats is among the big fandom on KPOP.Such a good example for other fandom to handle these kind of situations.
CARATs deserve praise for the way they handle Mingyu situation

Some already unstanned him
-
I saw some victim blaming and making jokes but at least felloe carats held them accountable. That's admirable.

My friend unstanned him. Shes actually very sad

Oh i havent see any victim blaming on my tl tho.
A lot of mingyu i-fansites (with thousands of followers) actually close their account and went hiatus also wanting Mingyu to be responsible.
Since theres still no confirmation so i kinda shocked to see ppl unstanning him that fast

Yeah I'm surprised as well, hopefully we get confirmation quickly and he takes responsability if needed

I've always said dont judge an entire fandom by the actions of a few

Exactly. I'm really surprised, this is probably the most mature fandom I've seen in KPOP...
-
Exactly! No matter which fandom they will be be spreading lies about the victim or defaming them like in Irene, chanyeol or even seungri's case.
However Carat's are literally cancelling him. The one's with mingyu photos as their pfp and demanding an explanation and siding with the victim. Its so weird to see a fandom actually holding their idols accountable :0 I didn't expect this.

I agree. The way international kpop stans have been acting these last couple of days has been really eye opening for me. For every other idol exposed, the majority of tweets from their fans that I've seen have been embarrassing AT BEST.
I know not all carats will react to this maturely but I definitely see a significant difference in the way they are behaving. And im not even talking about unstanning him, im talking about not constantly lieing to make their fav out to be the victim, or outright attacking those who believe the evidence put forward.

It is a very serious allegation, so we all are waiting for Mingyu’s statement as well and see what proof he may have to defend himself, and it better be good. Everyone is neutral right now, and waiting for the moment of truth. I don’t care if he wasn’t the one that directly sexually assaulted her, but being a bystander makes you just as bad. If he turns out innocent Pledis/Bh better sue for defamation because these accusations are no joke, and will make it worse for actual victims to speak up about their experiences and trauma. It’s better to stay neutral and see how things pan out before hating on either side.

I disagree. Many have turned against him. While I support victims of bullying and harassment, just because someone "sounds" convincing does not mean they are truthful. I always believed a person is innocent until proven guilty or if they admit to wrongdoings. Neither has taken place in this instance.

yea i was very suprised but content with the overall support and respect for the victim. now we just wait for whatever happens next, so this next month is gonna be very stressful. I'm so disappointed its hard to explain but im glad this came out, i don't wanna support someone who has harmed people and thinks they can brush it under the rug.
