They should step to the side while still supporting him till the situation is over and even if he is proven to be guilty, having done something bad in the past doesn't mean that the person is bad. See if he is genuinely repenting and give him a second chance. In my opinion this is what someone should do if she/he consider herself/himself an actual fan
