All I did last year was watch anime lol. I must have completed 50 titles. That's more in one year than I've watched my entire life. So I'm not watching much of anything right now. If you go to my MAL account you can see everything I've completed. I'm actually currently rewatching Buffy for the 500th time. Hulu/Disney just announced they are making a Buffy sequel series and I'm pretty nervous about it. I'll watch it but if it was up to me I would leave it alone. Buffy had it's time and place and there is no reason to go back to it.
But most of the anime I watch is retro and obscure so it would be hard to recommend anything. And I just remembered the last K drama I watched was...that one with Jung So Min....the fantasy one...forgot what it was called lol. Didn't you get into Extrodinary something Woo?
Edit: Oh dont forget I've been singing the praises of "The Vision of Escaflowne" for a while now.

Oh Man they are revisiting Buffy? Oh I hope they don't screw it up. I worry though as this day and age they can't seem to remake/continue anything with any sort of respect for the originals. Everything's always "reimagined" these days and never stays true to the original spirit.... Plus.... For something like Buffy. No one is going to be able to replace Sarah Michelle Geller....
The one you watched was Alchemy of Souls.... I never continued it as I couldn't take the magical aspect... I wanted it not to be fantasy....
And I never finished Extraordinary Woo.. I kinda lost interest as they kinda started spinning their wheels with the plot and it got old.

I've got Flowers of Escaflowne on my mental list. I'm waiting till I get that spark to start it. It's always like that with shows for me. I have this big rotating list of shows I "want to watch" that I keep in my head I'll get a sudden desire to delve into one from the rotation. I've got this on on my mind just gotta get in the mood.
