It is now getting certain that BTS' decision to serve in the military was probably the most foolish decision in the entire history of Pop as its empire is now being torn into pieces.
Stray Kids , which already had 19 concert dates, all but 4 of them stadium concerts, in 2024 will add 25 more concert dates, all but two (at Hong Kong) stadium tours. (The Johan Cruiff 'Arena' at Amsterdam, named after Holland's most famous soccer player, is as large as a stadium)
Worse,all of them are one day affairs.
JYP is now upping his ante.
It is likely that Stray Kids will have a larger tour than BTS in 2026!
BTS' 2020 tour, which didn't take place, had 39 dates so Stray Kids already outdid BTS. However SKZ' tour straddles thru 2 years so at least it has not decisively beaten BtS yet.
It is likely that whatever tour schedule BTS, whose members would be over 30 except Jungkook (30 in Korean age), will offer, SKZ will outdo if this round does well.
Seventeen had limitation since its exposure beyond Asia is weak.
However, SKZ, with 2 Australian members (although Christopher Bang was born in Korea - again Christopher Bang is no relation to the owner of Hybe, their surnames written in different Chinese characters. Felix Lee was born in Australia.)
has little limitations in the west.
With the declining album sales, it is possible that SKZ might outsell BTS in 2026!
What would happen if that happens?
The heaven and earth will move over
BTS had world domination but it threw that away to placate the Koreans who did not really matter as far as their international popularity was concerned
and now JYP and SKZ are en route to stomp them!
If they abandoned Korea, set up a new domicile in some other country and continued to tour the world (except Korea, of course), we would not have heard too much of SVT or SKZ, but now the game has changed.

Stray Kids already gave too many great performances to this show. Now It's time for them to priorize their wallets
Just in time when they were going to win a grand prize
at least they will have one more shot next year but what would happen if one of bts solos hits big.

Now SKZ has a concert at Manila.
Frankly speaking, a MAMA Grand Prize would have been more important than a concert in Philippines.
The Artist of the Year prize went to SVT, which was given two Grand Prizes, unusual for an act not considered to be world shaking. aespa received a similar treatment a certain 1,345 years received from MAMA 10 years ago, being cheated of the crown prize of AotY.
However I personally think if SKZ had bothered to show up at the award it would have received it since I don't think SVT did that well to win 2 Grand Prizes.
JYP decided to make some concert income instead of sending SKZ to win JYPE's first MAMA grand prize since Twice's Signal (song of the year, 2017, because the Senior Singer is ineligible from receiving a Grand Prize from MAMA for the rest of her life) which would have captivated the entire world.
Which seems to be another short sighted decision JYP made, which is not the first time he had done something like this.
Even more unforgiving is JYP himself showed up at the MAMA

They could have aimed towards to the world but it seems Beliftlab is OK to just limit them to Japan.

4 acts originating from Korea will be featured in the Kohaku, the year-end show held by NHK station in Japan.
They are Twice, Le Sserafim, txt and Illit. The first two had appeared at the Kohaku before so I won't talk about them.
Stray Kids appeared last year but this year they will have a year end concert, which might be why Niziu is not showing up because NHK is a bit upset on JYPE.
However, txt and illit appearing at the Kohaku means Hybe has abandoned its world conquest strategy.
txt started with a great promise, supposed to be the successor to BTS, but now , after 5 years, it now shows up in the Kohaku.I heard Choi Soobin has suspended activities because of health reasons, but the other 4 will be sent to Japan.
And, Illit, one of the two KPop girl groups (the other is LS) who made it to Billboard Hot 100. (Roseanne is not Korean)
It seems that by appearing at the Kohaku they have cemented their status as acts which will be oriented in Japan.
txt will be in its 6th year on 2025, so it will just be fixed in japan, instead of conquering the world
and Illit will probably also stay in Japan, following the massive defeat inflicted by Roseanne Park, MBE, and aespa
It seems Hybe is abandoning its world conquest strategy altogether.

I don't recall BP showing up in variety shows, only shows produced by its own team.
I’m sure aespa will win more daesang awards!
