So? What is the use of that?
Can he do concerts larger than a certain person who never promoted in USA but still had the audacity to rent an arena for each?

The conservative regime in South Korea is in its death throes. It might linger on for a few more weeks, but its prognosis is very poor.
Since it would be the second time a conservative government has fallen in less than 10 years, it is unlikely that the conservative faction will gain power in South Korea for quite a long time. The rabid conservative politicians who called for BTS military service are going to be swept away in this wave.
Hybe should have extended the military service of the younger 3, who happened to be the more important members of the group, until 2026 , the maximum, and I think they would have gotten the exemption with the new government.
Why some people argued for OT7, I don't understand. I even wrote a post about 'suspending' Seokjin and the older members for a while, performing without them around the world, but the mods erased it. I don't know why.
ANd now what? For what? For a country which is responsible for about 5% of BTS' entire revenue, for a country which chose IU and New Jeans above it?
Now Stray Kids, and even BlackPink, have surpassed BTS in all metrics. And, no matter how the New Jeans mess might conclude, OT7 won't continue past the current term of contract, since Taehyung won't go with Hybe after this round is over. Min Heejin might have lost, but she has won in the end.
MHJ would not have tried her attack if BTS were still going strong, and even she had admitted that.
As the world has moved on without BTS, and Bruno Mars and Roseanne Park, MBE, having obliterated KPop like a Godzilla, with aespa running for exits and Illit completely crushed, BTS basically has to start from scratch, with the disdainful eyes of Stray Kids, and Seventeen who has sold more albums than it.
With the younger three, called JVJ, forming a unit, we would not have heard too much about Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Shaboozey, or indeed Bruno Mars and Roseanne Park, MBE. And Seventeen and Stray Kids would have remained as also rans.
Instead, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen and Shaboozey no longer consider BTS to be their equals, and Bruno Mars, Roseanne Park, MBE, Seventeen and Stray Kids treat BTS as someone they can push over if they really try.
For what? For what?
Some people say hindsight is 20/20. But gaining time for the more important three members and giving them more exposure was the way to go, and now all of that came to be nought.
Are Armies ready to endure the smirk from Christopher Bang, an Australian (although he was born in Korea, something no Korean males are pointing out), like Floyd Mayweather looking at someone he haed just beaten, when SKZ beats BTS' total concert attendance in 2026

The new TT "Strategy" is again all English.
Seems JYPE with SKZ and TWICE is doing what you wanted "move away from Korea" without any fanfare.
Of course they won't entire quit Korea, but just prioritize it less and less.
Still it is weird to hear TWICE who can't do English in their interviews, sing songs entirely in English. Effectively they are only making the sounds then, feels very inauthentic to me as a listener.
But I guess for singers, it comes with the territory, I have heard of Indian OST singers, who have sung in 10+ languages, delivering hits as well. To them it is all vocalization, not about the language.
At least Twice has an American, or a former American according to some, in there
I think they not speaking English is by design, to avoid talking too much to the US media and keep them somewhat mysterious to the US fans

It was to help its chances at the radioplay chart

For whatever reason she does not sing OSTs of her own drama because I think she wants to be identified as just an actress when she is in a drama. The only OST she sang in her own drama after 2014 was Our Happy Ending in Hotel Del Luna which is not released to this day.

Mere lyrics won't be enough.
Both IU & LYW need to sing, act in MV and of course promote..
A single is enough, no need for an album.
Another option she should explore is getting foreign artists in Palette, translation tools are good that it can be seamless.
Starting with Japanese - Aimyon, Yoasobi
Looks that is not happening
IU and Byun Woo Seok to star in royal romance set in a modern constitutional monarchyIU and Byun Woo Seok will bring a fresh romantic pairing to the small screen in MBC’s upcoming drama '21st Century Crown Prince’s Wife' (…www.allkpop.comActually that is not their first encounter, since Byun Wooseok appeared briefly as Lee Jieun's ex boyfriend in Scarlet Heart

Popularity fades along time. IU already 16 years in her career, her latest release only looks bad bcs non-fans keep seeing her previous songs rank #1 on Kcharts but it still good than majority of 3rd to new gen idol groups.
Even GD struggle to get PAK, but he still managed to get #1 on majority of Kcharts. It's not weird for older acts to struggle, but it is weird if the new gen is the one that struggle as only few managed to do well so farIt took help from MAMA to get GD to the top of Melon.
That aside I am not concerned about BTS in Korea. I do care about its stature in the world, which has been significantly reduced.

They are past their prime in Korea and the U.S. There is nothing left for them to do but entertain army until they are in their 40s.
-
BTS has nothing left to prove in Korea. They've gotten plenty of hits and now they can focus on their side gigs, solo careers, and touring. BTS will be 12 years old next year, so it makes sense if they choose that life. They already limit their appearances on variety and award shows post 2020. Now I would love for them to break tour attendance and/or gross ticket revenue for a group, that's one of the only things left for them to really accomplish.
It had lots to prove in the world but threw all of that away to placate some Koreans who voted for New Jeans anyways.
It is the world which is important, not Korea.

Holssi didn't do well, only by IU's own standards and Shh.. did as well any non-Title of IU.
How come Bibi alone gets credit, Holssi & Shopper was stopped by TWS as well
Still she put all 5 songs in top 25. Not something most acts can do
But yes, I liked those songs far better in concert, concert versions, than the Music Videos.
And yes, veteran acts going largely into concert mode is a well established dynamic. Nobody is exempt to that.
IU, BTS or Bruno.
The younger people aren't interested in legacy acts and will stan the younger acts.
The older fandom now with jobs, family don't have time to do crazy stuff, but rather do the greater quality experience of concerts.
Ergo.
But concerts are where the most money is. So good for them.
The fundamental difference is while IU was not relevant as far as the world is concerned BTS had ruled the world.
Now it will only play second fiddle to whatever act which is hot.
They had the entire world and threw it away.
