It's part of SM strategy at this point to dye the hair of some of his artists with questionable colors or give them questionable hairstyles to then look at them with styles like this and be like "damn" because of the contrast/duality.

Not only music but japanese promos in general, but again, BTS is at a point where they could just release korean songs on a jp release and sell very good, they are more the exception than the rule.

idk what has to do with anything but BTS is huge enough now to not need any promo on Japan and sell amazingly regardless there. Which is not the case of the vast majority of Kpop groups.

Suju, SHINee and TVXQ are old acts, they barely go there other than to tour and they rely on their old, loyal fanbase. Like jype with 2pm, they aren't catering to new fans, just using the old ones. While they didn't try with got7 and day6

And even then, 127's "full japanese album" had like 6 actual new japanese songs, the rest was korean stuff they had already released, Regular english version, etc. Not to mention NCT Dream's mini that the only japanese thing It had was... The release. On almost 5 years, NCT as a whole has released less than 15 japanese songs, that's not really trying, SM only cares about Japan when It comes to touring since years ago and It shows, it's a secondary market for them when It comes to album sales.

Some NCTzens take jokes about their own favs way too far and they are also too reactionary about anything their favs do because they want to be the "mature fandom who call their faves out" even if they don't know anything about the issue, NCTzens can become NCT's biggest antis sometimes.

Limitless but at least It has some people that really love and mention It constantly, I would say that WayV's Take Off for example is very underrated even within NCTzens, I LOVE the MV, the dance and the song has amazing production value, I'd say it's still my fav WayV title track, although Moonwalk is underrated as well since It deserves more than 15m views. Also Dream's My First and Last.

Something that I find amazing on this forum is that when a troll makes a troll thread It gets called out but when it involucrates NCT and another famous group it's a free country to shade NCT for comparing them to their greek gods

They won't admit It but yes, don't you dare compare them to any group because they will get dragged by people who don't know shit about them. It's funny how we are always the bad and toxic ones though.

After less than 2 years since debut and with the hate boner and all they are selling 500k albums, so SM has yet another group they can milk money from with their next comebacks.

with nct, they were pushed too much without hit, it didnt help taeyong's issue happened too. Even now, most positive reactions are towards Mark and Jaehyun

I think is pretty clear that NCT's music direction was far from the GP since the start though, they always went for the fandom route, but I kind of understand these knets are coming from an era where charting for idol groups was far more important and indicated how successfull the group was, but things have changed.

And when people discover you don't need to chart to get CFs or acting stuff once you have a big enough and loyal fandom because you have amazing selling power >>>>

I remember the 8000 articles hating on them and Taeyong since predebut as well so if that's protection do not want it, about variety shows... Emmmm... NCT Life? Idk, knets will bash any new group, specially if it's from SM though.

Yeah but it's like people always mention this big push they received from the start which I fail to see, they had a lot of comebacks because they are divided on units but idk their MVs weren't even that expensive and SM barely promoted them outside Korea or gave them expensive comebacks until 2018.

Taeyong because he's at a point where he absorbs dancing so easily he implements his own little details by his own, not to mention his charisma, body's control and face expressions, I love Mark's dancing though, very hip/hop and energetic.
