this kinda sounds like a Love Talk type of song, interesting choice since NCT tts tend to be the hype type, but it's NCT R&B on a title track so it's gotta go hard... Interesting choice.

I don't remember NCT getting that much hate for their music, but Stray Kids for sure get a lot of hate...
I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea, idk
NCT on 2018 was already saying things like "bring the noise" or "NCT Noise you can't break me"on their songs as a clapback, imagine lmao.

China no doubt would be a bigger market for most Kpop groups if they could tour there, but Japan is more important for the touring aspect I'd say, although some of the c-bars do be going crazy and no touring could be done for some time... So actually with the pandemic I would say they are equal or even the chinese market is more important rn.

NCT is truly scary.

Lmao of course streaming brings more on a industry where physicals have been on the decline and where 99% of artists don't realease physical albums because they know nobody would buy it, they second biggest music market in the world with like 1/3 of the US population tells a different story. Pls how can you compare a 20€/$ physical album to streams.

Oh start the ego again
Minute by minute
The path to the future wouldn’t be repeated
Oh my colorless consciousness wakes up
Turning back time
Like a kaleidoscope, temptation is everywhere
We’re hovering over the chaotic earth
Look at the colorless sound, scent, flavor, touch, and the law intuitivey
The time is ticking away
Oh start the ego again
Minute by minute
The path to the future wouldn’t be repeated
Oh my colorless consciousness wakes up
turning back time
Minute by minute (If we could turn back time)
From myself in the past to the future
Oh my colorless consciousness wakes up
Turning back time

It's their first solo album after like 2 years when Jennie dropped Solo and blinks barely get album releases. It honestly would surprise me if it doesn't reach at least 400k. On Gaon I mean.

What happens when SM restock albums
-
but that is exactly what happened. he copied and pasted the system. maybe you aren’t as familiar with jpop because it’s literally made to be inaccessible through very deliberate and thorough means, but that’s exactly what he did.
and when you branch off to mention how he also took from black american music culture like r&b and hiphop.... that was also being done in korea before lsm. we’re not that far behind america.
you managed to talk a lot without making any points. he copied the japanese system, copied black music, invested hugely into korean ent, etc. and he wasn’t the first.... just one of the first to become hugely successful. that’s it. even koreans don’t try to credit him as much as you international fans do....
mmmm, but you still didn't discredit my point, you just repeated the bible and I still repeat to you: No Jpop group had the vocals and dancing SM groups had on the 2000s, you just don't copy a system and make it more polished and popular by just copying it, on that case Jpop groups would be more similar to Kpop groups nowadays, while it's clear they went different directions not only localization wise but skills wise. I know afroamerican music was on Korea before, but he was the first to implement it within the system so heavily is what I mean.
It's like saying Resident Evil 6 is a copypaste of Resident Evil 4 because of the mechanics, when they are different games with different scenaries, weapons and different markets with different targets. He obviously didn't create the system out of 0 but acting like the Kpop system is just Jpop but in korean at this point is quite ignorant.
Not like that justifies any shit he did like tax evasion, searched by Interpol, embezzlement, etc. But credit where credit is due.

ew, i don’t care what his involvement in kpop is
(and international fans really play up his innovation lmao. implementation of the japanese training system after seeing the potential success of a similar industry following the recession in korea is.... not super innovative. like i don’t see why international fans don’t see it. we had a recession and we upped every aspect of entertainment exports as a result. including movies and tv, as well. if he didn’t do start using the japanese system, someone else soon would have, and that’s no joke after stj. he used an already made system, to achieve a goal that others were already working on, in a way that was already being thought of, to an audience that was already beginning to be formed before lsm even considered it.
he’s done less for kpop than international fans acknowledge, honestly. because they don’t know what it was like in korea or the surge in kmedia, or were brainwashed by media and company stans, etc.)
lsm is a criminal, a national traitor, and the girls only deserve to be around the best
I always see people saying this acting all high about how LSM just copy-pasted japanese training system when the reality is I'm yet to see a J-Pop group that had both the dance and the vocal training SM groups had since the 2000s, you can't just reduce it to a copypaste and act like SM groups became famous on Asia (Japan included) just because of... luck I guess since Japanese industry was the one that started it? Japanese and Korean systems of training are actually quite different and you can see it by how they perform and the music they go for, LSM could copy some elements from the japanese industry at the moment and all, but it's no doubt he made a twist and perfectioned it, also making the dance more sharp and with a musical style much more afroamerican influenced. In fact he also got inspiration from Motown discography, which kinda explains SM's obsession with R&B and soul.

Still waiting for NCT to have a song, let alone a title track that sounds like Don't Call Me, and it's not like their discography is small... Same goes for Jopping and a big amount of SuperM songs people associate with them...
Look, I get that for the average casual it all seems noisy and confusing elements they don't understand with a SM bridge but at least know what you are talking about.

No but if that girl truly bullied someone I just have seen it all.
