  • OMG it's gorgeous!! This movie came out so long ago (I just turned 4!) but I remember it really well since my babysitter about 5 years ago, let us have sleepovers with her children and one night, the first Avatar movie was playing all night that one night over and over again. My brother and I were used to having late bedtimes while that family usually went to bed pretty early so we both stayed up watching it over and over until we felt too tired and went to bed.

    The good old days :pepecute:

And I remember going to Pandora (Animal Kingdom) at Disney World which was CRAZY. Probably my favorite section of the park in all the parks. If you haven't seen it, it's so beautiful! I just wish there was more to do there and more immersive like the Star Wars section of Hollywood in Disney World...I wish it had an Avatar-themed restaurant. (pictures below! Looks like something straight out the movie but it's in real life!)

I hope this one is a big hit like the first one!

  • I'll probably watch it. I liked the first one. The Disney ride for it and land associated is awesome.

OMG YES!! Disney World Pandora is A-MAY-ZING!!!

Probably one of my favorite sections of a Disney World park in general. I just wish that the section itself was more immersive, a little bit like the Star Wars place in Hollywood. But the rides are beautiful too.

Have you been on the Flight of Passage ride?

  • You are asking a girl who practically grew up at Disney if she has experienced on of the best rides to ever land in the park? MULTIPLE TIMES. Man I still rate it better than Rise of the Resistance which a ton of people seem to prefer.

Hehe I figured...just wanted to make sure! :smirks2:

I love the Flight of Passage!!! It's sooo beautiful, it feels like you're actually in the movie and a human who embodies an avatar for a little while. I know it's one of those rollercoasters with a screen and you're not really on a rollercoaster but it's like you're on it but I was like so happy and madly giggling the whole time!

I got to ride it in 2020 but not in 2021 since the line was way too long and we've already been on it once. It's incredibly popular and it took us forever to wait in line in 2020, especially without the fast pass.

Definitely one of my favorite rides across the parks. I do like Rise of Resistance better though since it's more immersive and you're actually there than have it just be a large screen with some realistic effects. The RoR just feels really real and it's incredible but Flight of Passage is definitely super cool

  • I think it may be cause I'm just more of a visual person. FOP is just way more beautiful. I also really love rides like Soarin' for the same reason. This is not to say I didn't enjoy Rise of The resistance. I did and have heard some hilarious back talk from the interaction, though I saw one kid that looked like she was about to cry and felt bad. That was a bit of a turn off since the kid was def not ready for that level.

  • I'm really sorry I missed meeting up with you btw. I'm there at some point every year, so tell me when you go again!

Oh, don't worry about it at all! It happens <3

It'll probably be a while with my family since my dad keeps saying "I won't go back until they fix the fast pass" (the Genie app was a nightmare to handle so I don't even blame him). It was pretty expensive too. We can only go during the winter because other than Winter and Thanksgiving breaks, we don't take vacation because our family business requires our parents to be home almost all year.

    But hopefully someday!

Ah, I see. FOP was super fun and I felt like I was in the movie, it was just crazy how RoR felt for me as a rider and a pretty big fan of Star Wars. But both are some of my top rides for sure! I love Soarin', I think it's pretty cool how you got to tour the world in a few minutes...though it kind of scared me ngl...LOL

    Oh nooo lol :cryingr:

Yeah...I think it was pretty intense, especially if it wasn't what you were expecting at first. RoR was definitely a ride that if you saw on video you would think it's pretty cool but it'd be nothing like doing it in person.

OMG, don't get me started on Genie. HATE IT. People think every other thing in kpop is a hidden cash grab. Genie is 100% a cash grab without the decency to even fake it.

  • I saw the trailer in 3D during the Doctor Strange 2 movie and DEFINITELY WHEN IT COMES OUT WATCH IT IN 3D. It was such an ethereal experience just watching the trailer so I can only imagine what it’ll be like for the entire movie!
