    Probably not but then they probably sold much more than YG's expectation anyway. In case people don't know, other YG boy groups usually sell less than 200k.

Enhypen's repackaged album with only two versions and one new song which dropped three months after their previous album has nearly the same amount of sales as treasure's mini album with 15 versions...treasure aren't going to ever reach enhypen in terms of sales, let's be serious

    nah. they are sure talented but that alone wont make them top 3. They need to have that stage presence & charisma to entice more fans. Right now, w/o much cb , they have limited stage to develop presence & their natural charisma is kinda not much either. But being top 4 is NOT bad. They are still a profitable team if they continue to sell over 700k. I’m sure they can sell 1M too in the future!

    not everyone can be bp, treasure needs consistent comebacks, not 1 cb a year to be at the top. bp were simply lucky and kinda in a weird anomalous place where they keep getting bigger despite hiatuses. skz, enhypen, txt have more frequent and consistent cbs, so treasure needs that as well.

    they went viral for the recent comeback, they're really strong in SEA. They can get 1 m+ sales next comeback. It's possible. + They're still 2 years old, they still have a long way to go, they're just getting started

    actually , they almost have the same cb as enhypen excluding jpn albums. Their number of songs are also almost the same considering that 8-9 of Enhypen songs are into/outro & prelude. It’s just the timing for Enhypen is more spread out than Treasure

    Treasure is still in their finding phase and are already beating all boygroups except BTS and maybe Stray Kids on Youtube. Imagine what happens if YG realizes that Treasure is suited to light hearted songs like Darari instead of the YG template no singing chorus song like Jikjin. This was obvious even back during the survival show days. Treasure are very talented so they somehow still make it work but there's a reason why songs like Darari, ILY and Going Crazy are easily the fandoms favourite songs.


    For people saying Treasure has no chance anymore just an interesting stat.


    Treasure's latest dance performance video of Darari got 11m views in 3 weeks. That's more than Stray Kids, TXT and Enhypens latest comeback dance performances got combined.

    Not in yg no. They'll always be a step behind. They debuted long before Enhypen but Enhypen breezed past them in no time. If they continue to comeback once a year it will be nothing but a fantasy. By the time they become million sellers the other bgs will already be selling 2 million albums. The other groups are also powerful in streaming platforms and keep growing so treasure will be left in the dust.


    It's too competitive in 4th gen for the yg strategy to work. Even in 3rd gen it never worked. Just look at ikon and winner. They were top contenders at some point but they fizzled away just as fast as they rose.

    off topic : what happened to their darari promotion? it's already may but there's no promotion as what yg promised :/

    All k-pop groups are growing. Where Treasure stands would be clear when they come back again.


    But YG groups were never that strong in album sales, even Big Bang, when they were at the absolute top still were outsold by a lot of other bgs and even by a gg, SNSD, in album sales.


    And YG allowing long hiatuses between each comeback, is working against their groups, especially when you can't sell it convincingly as 'quality above quantity', and rare exclusivity by artificial scarcity only works when your group already has a top brand image.

    If not, interest in your group will simply fade over time, the longer the hiatus lasts.

    I'm sure Treasure will become bigger in the future but when it comes to album sales I don't think YG groups can match other fandoms. I'm only a casual listener that found them after listening to Darari and they actually have some other nice songs like Going Crazy too. I don't really like the music style of other 4th gen BGs (aside from some TXT songs) so they might have some casual/male fan appeal if they focus on releasing less noisy songs.

    It's funny how skz weren't doing this well 1.5 years after debut, and now are at the top of 4th gen. But since it's treasure, it's impossible to see them grow right ? After 1+ year hiatus they got everyone's scared about their improvement.

    The skz comparison is so funny because skz has always been much more successful in their rookie years than treasure has. They got massive viral hits even before they grew to the level they are now. Kingdom gave them a big push too. And not every group can have the luck stray kids had.     Ads don't only help by adding views? They also help by reaching bigger audience and giving much greater exposure. Once the ads come to an end, you notice a decrease in the views and that says enough
