I unstanned Yoochun and Kim Hyunjoong, it was the right thing to do but their crimes were big as well.

I'm sorry that you have to go through that. My biases haven't gone through scandals in my life as a KPOP stan so far and I've been a KPOP stan for more than half a year.

I’ve had to deal with my biases doing racist things and honestly sometimes I can never look at them the same again, like with those controversies it sort of hits home when they make fun of your culture. Sometimes I even unstan.

I've only had Irene's scandal as a fan. I was disappointed, but since she quickly came forward, admitted, apologized and the victim forgave her, I moved on. She fell down to last place on my bias ranking, but at no point I wanted to kick her out of the group.

In contrast, I followed an YouTuber who was caught cheating and blatantly lied to his subscribers saying he was innocent and came up with excuses only dumb people would buy. It made me feel disrespected. But people debunked his dumb excuses and he admitted he did it 1 week later, but in a half-assed manner. After that, I lost the respect I had for him and stopped following his work.

When this happens I step aside as I don't know the idols personally, and it's not my place to take responsibility for adults who are basically strangers

When Irene had her scandal I acknowledged her fault and took a break from stanning, but moved on when the stylist herself said that she did

This is why I only listen to music and watch performances. I don't watch the variety bc I don't wanna get too attached to them emotionally. I like GI-DLE but this scandal just doesn't sit right me.

Unless it’s a huge scandal like some crime involving assault or rape I literally don’t care much.
