you know how in Nmixx Sullhyon is getting so much more attention than team member? that was basically Suzy's debut era.

JYP's fault was letting other members just wait around while Suzy did all of her solo activities. They couldnt do much as group while she had alot of solo activities.

Not really, maybe in their contract have something that lead to lack of their groups individual activites

But Min was at one point popular. Despite Suzy's visuals being a huge attractor at debut, Min was popular for her Kkap dance and was good at variety shows but then Suzy blew up with Dream High then Architecture 101 really made it Suzy and the girls.

her popularity was different than Sullyoon though her popularity didn't blow up until Dream high she wasn't that popular at the beginning actually.

Miss A paved way by inventing the term "Suzy situation"

Now that I think about it... JYP was never good at promoting individual activities for any of their girl groups since the Wonder Girls' debut (except for Miss A's Suzy and to some extent Sunmi *because she became a soloist while on hiatus before returning to Wonder Girls*).

miss A debut under AQ Entertainment (AQE) in 2010, then a subsidiary of JYPE.

Despite topping every major end of year chart with their debut song and winning a Daesang, miss A were not earning enough to sustain their company. AQE was dissolved in December 2013.

Dream High was filmed while Suzy was at AQE, her biggest role was Architecture 101, she was still at AQE but it was that film which caused the demand.

What people don't seem to realise is that neither AQE or JYPE needed to push Suzy because she was already getting job offers and CFs. Whereas both companies failed their push with the other members because they didn't draw enough interest.

While Fei and Jia ended up doing Radio Shows, Min couldn't get a break on Vareity Shows.

Suzy's situation is very common for Kpop Groups where the Actor/Actress is bigger than the rest of the group, so typically when Groups disband, the Companies will hold on to those members

She blew up in popularity with architecture 101, the Nation’s First Love.

There was just no way other members gonna match her popularity after that.

That time of miss a they are crazy over visuals then this time they’re crazy over talents min jia fei are outstanding dancers but is that enough??? No korea loves their own people with execptionally good in vocals etc.

No, she was simply in frequent demand.

Jia and Fei were both Chinese so i wouldn't catch on in Korea no matter what they did. And Min tried a lot, she had lots of solo activities but she didn't make it either.

Suzy was still really popular at debut though. She had the first viral kpop gif on korean community sites and knetz talk about how she made the blunt bangs hairstyle super trendy among teens because of her debut stage all the time.

In fact she was more popular than Sullyoon is now, she just didn't overshadow the group at the time because other members were being pushed/gained attention to.

Nah, other members didn't just draw any attention towards themselves even though they had more solo activities than any TWICE or ITZY member ever have or will.

Secondly, Suzy has been the most popular in Miss A since their BGGG era, she still didn't overshadow the other members though. It was only after A101 mainly because Knetz showed no interest in other members.
