Would you stan a group because you liked a member(s) even if you thought their music was just average?

But it doesn't mean I couldn't still keep stanning a group that I wasn't as in love with their new music, if I already got attached to them.
For instance, as I've indicated before on here, I fell in love with TWICE from their debut period through their mid career. That period is the one that has the music that I connected with.
Their new music is not as moving to me, but I still Stan them as my ultimate because I love the group itself, Tzuyu, and the memories of those special songs they gave us earlier.

nah. the members might be the reason behind my initial interest, but if i don't like the music at all i wouldn't follow them beyond casually
i loved idle immediately at debut, both with their debut song and the members, but i stopped enjoying their title tracks at some point and i never fully stanned them. i liked the members, but there wasn't anything to really keep me there. still listen to and enjoy their albums though.

Has the way you stan them changed since you don't connect with their music as much? Do you concentrate on their old stuff or still keep up with all their new stuff?

This is me. Other things might lead me to noticing and checking out an artist, but they won't be enough to make me a stan. The music has to be there. If the music is there, the other stuff is just a pleasant bonus.

yes and no, sometimes it's a member that got me into a group example: yongha and junseo from 1the9 being into wei and i like wei's music but like their latest stuff has fell flat for me, i don't follow them as big as i used to but i still stick around as a fan because i like the members.
Kind happened where i got into Dongkiz music and liked a couple members but just kinda stopped paying attention to them after their last 2 albums/songs weren't to my tastes and now with this member change and this new concept i'm like all watching them again so lol
