It would turn even more ragged though. Without those things to distract us, we would end up having more potentially problematic threads that focus on idols' looks or lack thereof, their talents or lack thereof, their song quality or lack thereof.

I wasn't that interested in stats and sales before K-pop and in the beginning of K-pop when I was super into K-pop, so I'd still be around enjoying all the really important stuff of K-pop, that still remains

You're make sense, I agree with you We certainly wouldn't have seen comments saying that when the music started to become successful in Korea, I started to like it.

Sales stats and achievements are FACTS and we need those topics to balance out the endless opinion threads.

Now aside from the guild, I like interacting in threads about Kpop music, fun contents and comebacks. Achievements are cool and the groups getting them deserve it as I wish the best for every group, but they're not mine anyway, so I don't get a lot attachment from them.
