It’s time for the Ultimate Discography Rating!
This rating is specifically designed to give every group the best possible shot of a good score while being thorough and fair. It’s up to the music to be good enough, now!
Here’s How It Works!
Part One is a score of the group’s TOP 10 SONGS
chosen through asking their fans to vote on which 10 to use. Scored out of 10.0 to get an average song score.
Part Two is a measure of whether their discography is VERSATILE
Their fans will get to vote again and try to choose a song for each of these 6 genre categories. Pop, R&B, HipHop, Rock, EDM/House, Ballad. However many genres they can fill will give a score out of 6 which will then be converted to their versatility percentage.
Part Three is a score of the SONG QUALITY while being VERSATILE
In this part, songs from the previous genre categories will be scored out of 10.0 to get an average score for their songs when being versatile. This guarantees that even if a group doesn’t have a song for one (or multiple) of the genre categories it won’t affect their score in this part. That’s the difference between the “versatility” score and the “song quality while versatile” score
Part Four is a measure of SLAYABILITY
In this category, every single song from their discography will be listened to. The number of full blown, never-skip, iconic slays will be marked down and at the end the overall percentage of their discography that is a slay will be calculated.
Part Five is a measure of the SKIPABILITY
In this category, every single song from their discography will be listened to. The number of skips will be marked down and at the end the overall percentage of their discography that is a skip will be calculated.
At the end, all of this will be scored up like this:
Average Song Score: x/10.0
Versatile Song Score: x/10.0
Versatility: x%
Slaybility: x%
Skipability: x%
