They could get a good and gp friendly song but not as the same success as BP
Teddy played a part on bp's success but the bigger factors were bp themselves and their brand -
Not as successful (reaching BP’s level you’d need more) but successful for sure
Teddy’s music almost always bring success. Bigbang, 2ne1 and Blackpink being the obvious examples but Sunmi’s debut also did amazing and Somi is one of the most popular solo artists internationally.
A Teddy club banger with a matching mv seem to be the most surefire way to get a hit song. I’m The Best, Fantastic Baby, Bangx3, Ddux4, KTL and HYLT are all some of the biggest international kpop hits ever and they’re extremely popular in Korea as well. If a group were to have one or two comebacks like that they’d probably reach top group status without too much trouble.

Teddy makes good catchy music. Good, catchy music in the hands of just anyone won't make a star. Good catchy music in the hands of a charismatic group/idol though is enough to reach the stratosphere. I would never discount what Teddy does, but he and his music are not the only factors at play.
