Kpop has many dark mysteries. If you just research deeper you would see this kind of secrets

But honestly, other industries are like 10x worse.
For example the film industry in Kerala(where I come from, not live but I was born there). There's this actor that sent out these guys tor*pe this actress because the actress found out and told the actor's wife(who is also an actress) that the actor is cheating on her with another actress.
The dude's still getting invited to special events such as other actor's children's engagement/wedding parties despite everyone knowing what he did. Basically the whole film industry(including the big names) over there except for a few brave people act like it never happened.
So yeah, compared to what I have witnessed, the kpop industrie's problems are a grain of salt.

When I got into it hardly any people know kpop and there wasn’t Twitter or YouTube to see fanwars. Interestingly those days I was on a forum too but we didn’t have trolls. There were some clicks but they avoided each other both online and offline. It was great to have offline meetings lol We used to have monthly kpop-jpop party in the capital city and used to meet up.

I was talking about the fans, let me make the title clear, I didn't want to make it too long

I follow alot of things in my life to keep me busy during my free time so I am not spending alot of time on any particular interest of mine to go deeper into that interest. So I more often than not don't come across "bad sides" of the things I follow. That's why I always end up feeling people are exaggerating whenever I see people talk about these "bad sides".
This is another good point. Most kpop fans are young people who haven't seen alot of internet or when it was at worst i.e. 2014-16. So they really don't know how toxic internet can be hence whenever they come across even slight toxicity, they end up thinking it was the worst.

Yeah, it was my first. I've always avoided fandoms.

ahhh that makes more sense. maybe i also partially misread the title lol
but honestly western and sports fans are just as bad so. i do think kpop stans can be pretty bad tho
-
I was part of another fandom outside kpop. non kpop fans are just as toxic. People mostly use it as an excuse to look down on kpop fans
-
Unfortunately it's true. I've been in many fandoms, social media and forums for more than a decade but I can definitely say that kpop stans are the most toxic ones I've ever interacted with.
