this is true. both my parents are doctors, my mom stopped working in the hospital and now works from home.

Cops/detectives and politicians and prison ward guards/medical prople , those sorts of professions cause I feel like at some point one of these criminals are gonna attack me and I would rather lay low

unless you judge a person by their profession each person should be treated on their merits alone right?

The first group is what you are born into, no choice there

The second group is sth you choose and it is part of your personality so it makes sense to judge someone's personality based one them

true and I always say you can judge someone based on whatever one wants to judge someone on - it's really their choice after all right? different strokes for different folks

but if one is excluding a certain portion of the population for having x profession it really limits one choices when in fact a suitable partner might be found from that profession...

but then again maybe one has bad dealings with people from that profession and rather not get involved which is perfectly understandable

It doesnt matter the personality of the sex worker, I can be a great friend to them, but as a partner I cannot share someone even if its their job. That is a boundary that I know if crossed I will not be happy.

Same with people who have public lives, from celebs to politicians. Im too private and I know dating someone like that will make me miserable endlessly.
