I know there are still a few groups with members who are over the age of 30, 30 or just about to hit it and people call them "old"

They may be about twice my age but I don't think there's any reason for them to be deemed not capable of what they are doing.

imo it's because idols debut very young, and also because the fans themselves are young. they begin to think the world is full of young people, and that as soon as someone hits 35 they shrivel up and lose all their teeth

LOL. Thirty is hardly old for anything in life, they're still babies more or less compared to me anyway and I'm not even ancient yet. It's too young to be retired yet.

Well as a 14 year old, a 30 year old does seem old compared to me. But I wouldn't say they need to go to a retirement home lol.
