Or maybe after a change in concept?
Is there a group that you only started liking after you felt their music or direction "changed"?

I loved VeriVery on RTK but I did not like their music prior to the face series. once they got to the face series it was all smooth sailing from there. Bop after Bop!
i can't think of any other group similar i mean there's opposites...I was going to stan Ciipher, due to a few members and then their album hit and then it sunk my battleship. they had one good song on their comeback album and I still can't get into them, despite them having Keita. Dongkiz started off good and then it declined for me, and that sunk my battleship too.
Maybe you should do an opposites post to this lol

AB6IX - i didn't really notice them until they came out with Salute and then Do You Remember...I like there music from that point on. Do You Remember is amazing!
Highlight - I honestly never paid attention to them, until they came back and came out with Not The End. That song and mv was extremely beautiful. I sat here and literally listened to everything from when they were Beast and they have one of the best discographies! I simply adore them!
Kingdom - I did not like their debut album much, their concept was nice but the debut wasn't that great...until the next comeback and they came out with Karma and from there they just went up and up. I really like the concepts, their story and their music, and going back to listen to their debut there was a couple i should have given a chance. I'm excited to see what Kingdom brings!
Kang Daniel - I did not really care for his music prior to the album "Magenta" from there I love his music and his yellow album just hits home a lot of his songs are incredibly relatable. I legit cry on Misunderstood because it hits home so hard!

I started liking Twice thanks to "Fancy." Back then, I didn't like cute concept so much, so it was really thanks to "Fancy" that made me check out their earlier works. Through that, I was able to appreciate cute concept more. Again... Acquired taste.
I started liking Red Velvet thanks to "Bad Boy." I know Red Velvet always dabbled with their mature "velvet" side before that, but I feel like they really went up a level with "Bad Boy."
