Never got it

But a few of my friends did. Just of them are pretty healthy birthday but after covid since if them still have side effects a year later. I've of them still gets out of breath very easily add he used to be very physically active so his life had changed. Another person still has very weak sense of smell. One developed sudden minor heart problems that eventually cleared up but it was still jarring to hear your friend have heart problems out of the blue.
A couple of my cousins caught it and they were mostly fine (10-17 year olds) but one of my older cousins (24) had extreme fatigue, she said she couldn't get up the stairs to her room for almost an entire year.
For a lot people there are long lasting side effects that aren't given as much attention by media so most people think not dying from covid is success enough even though since side effects can be live changing at least in the short term.

I got it in January. At the beginning of March, I’m finally clear of the cough you’re talking about as well as some really dehabiliating nausea/puking that continued to last for weeks and weeks. I lost a lot of weight and felt like I was never going to get better so I’m glad to see the back of that. (I do have asthma so that combination was really a 1-2 punch.)
My sense of smell and taste only went out for a week or so, but I do find my taste buds seem to have shifted where my sense of sweetness is off (things I didn’t think were sweet [or lightly sweetened] seem very sweet to me and sweet things seem super super sweet.
I also still get really fatigued. I used to not need very much sleep and now I need more. I’m exhausted by the end of my work day. Not just tired but really really exhausted. I still get really worn out if I run around and do stuff (like a trip to Costco is like an apocalypse.) I’m assuming this will improve based on the other symptoms that improved but it’s mostly really frustrating.

So sorry it has left you with such bad longlasting effects
hope you can recover soon
I had very mild symptomps but the cough was also persisent for a but it wasn't too strong, I had much worse in the past
I'm tired these days though but I would say that's because I wake up every day at 4>50 am because of my job

so I don't think it had any bad effects on me
