I always love their special performances. The sets are always so cool.

We finally get to have a good look at the choreography.

This really goes back a few years ago when YG said that music shows are outdated and have outlasted their usefulness.

I know Kpop fans like them, but that's mostly true about music shows.

When YG said that I thought for sure "YG on Air" was going to comeback as a weekly show and feature just YG artists. It was basically YG's own weekly music show.

They basically get to do what they want.

BIGBANG didn't want to do music shows their last comeback...GD didn't at all for his last comeback. But then again BIGBANG didn't really need them. I believe the music shows asked YG to continue to send them and YG artists.

Now that YG has this enormous building with all these new performance spaces (we haven't even seen the 2-story auditorium yet)...and especially when YG finishes their SFX/VFX venue that'll be the largest in Korea, I think YG (and many other labels) will kiss music shows goodbye.

YG, like many other big labels, have their own television and film production division, and have the capability to produce their own shows.

The smaller labels will still go to them, but if you remember, the big labels started going after music shows doing so many fancams and angles. Labels realized they're practically giving away content they could monetize to these music shows, who let's face it, have become glorified YouTube channels for international Kpop fans as no one in Korea really watches them on TV.

Aaaaaaaahhhhh!! Can't wait to see the whole performance!!
