Typically anywhere from 6-8 depending on how quickly I fall to sleep.

i normally get home at about 4 and sleep until 9 or 10 at night
I'm around 6-7 consistently after YEARS and YEARS of insomnia. But if I forget to take my medication, my sleep is shot.

I like to get at least eight hours. Sleep is important to me.
Not enough
During the work week I usually sleep around 5,5-6,5 hours and I'd say I'm fairly rested, unless I wake up a lot at night. But to get fully rested I'd say I need from 7 to 8 hours of good sleep.
What's interesting is that sometimes when I sleep in and sleep for 9 hours, I'm more tired than with 7 hours of sleep, so it looks like you can overdo it with sleeping time.

I just remembered something, though I have no idea how legit it is!
I once heard that a full sleep cycle lasts around 1,5 hour so to sleep well, we should always sleep full cycles, so e.g. 6 or 7,5 should be a few full cycles. I remember that it was explained that if you wake up in the middle of the sleep cycle, during the deep sleep phase, you are more likely to be sleepy and feel tired. I guess it might be more achievable if you can wake up naturally, without an alarm clock.
But I don't know how true and is, so please take it with a grain of salt.

That would make sense if it were true. Sometimes I wake up more rested after 7.5 hours sleep versus 8, so I can believe it.
