It's a tie but maybe slightly I prefer Winter's tone but not when it's high-pitched like the high notes in StepBack, DCT, or the end of Savage. Fun fact that she showed she wasn't a fan of it either in the latter cases so I hope they don't make her do that so often because Ningning is so much more comfortable in it. However, both her growl/hard singing style and her softer singing voice are amazing, and why I slightly prefer her voice. She is so versatile in styles.

I don't have a preference, it really depend on the song they are singing
for example if they are both covering an IU song, i will prefer winter vocal colour because to me her voice sounds the best in this slow, sweet ballad
it's a song with more soul, groovy, i'll prefer Ning vocal colour, because her voice is more soulful and full than winter
for example in all the songs they did
I prefer winter voice in Savage (and it depend on the part because Ning slay the bridge) and forever
while i Prefer Ning voice over Winter in BM and Next level

winter in the studio version, but live I prefer ningning. I have the impression that SM puts too much on winter back, so she has to tighten up a lot to bring out those high notes and sometimes they are terribly clumsy, for example on an encore. ningning doesn't have this problem and her voice is rich and pleasant when she hits highnotes, when winter just squeaks. she strains extremay heavily starting from D5. she can't take it live.
