Overall the only 3 gg song that shld be in discussion is TT, D4, HYLT

And D4 is a clear first, Highest 3rd gen daily/realtime ULs of all time, highest Gaon weekly index of all time, 1st in gallup 2018, most viewed kpop idol mv of all time

Other songs are either not big enuf in korea or internationally to be representative

The people who don't mention Red Flavor have no clue and are underrating the popularity and impact of that song

Obviously we have bigger songs like Dynamite and HYLT, but they don't feel gen defining (to me at least). They're big because of songs like DNA and D4 that really broke through and made an everlasting impact in the K-Pop scene and also for the groups. I feel like each of these 5 mentioned songs made history on their own and are therefore representative for the 3rd gen.

I don't care about downloads, index, streams and bla bla. I'm just mentioning songs I still see being covered in like 10, 15 years for newer generations multiple times, playing on varieties/realities/sports and everyone dancing or singing along, thinking about the generation and It's some of the first songs that comes to the mind, because made a difference for the career of a memorable group that defined the generation.
