Easy bop for me. I quite enjoy the synthwave aspects to the song, and I could seeing it being one of my favourite tracks of the year.
Not as bad as Hmph! but.. still a silly song. Funny, but silly :)
It's fun and catchy for sure. The bridge is a bit too much

The beginning and sound background when the girls are singing. Anyway, it's not a bad thing and it's common to use samples from older or newer songs or sample banks [like Stray Kids and Monsta X are using same/remixed bass sample in Ssick (start of the song) and Rush hour (in chorus)].

I just listened to both songs, and there are certainly similarities. However, the instrumentation isn't identical (it's as if Chocome's producers tried to imitate A-Ha), so does that still count as a sample?

Oh yeah I definitely enjoy some Orange Caramel myself, and it's good to see another group taking up their mantle. I think Chocome is the only group doing an offbeat concept like this these days.

A sample does not mean all song, but some notes, sounds or parts of the song. If they pay for those, there is no problem. It's not uncommon for musicians (korean or not) to use samples.
