What are some visuals or non-visuals with visuals that might be underrated or overlooked in South Korea (and possibly Japan) but are popular internationally or fit another country's beauty standards more?
In my opinion, one of the main people I think about for this category is Twice Jihyo. She fits the least Korean Beauty Standards of Twice and one of the least popular members in her visuals, but she doesn't let that define her, she does what she wants and whenever she feels comfortable and confident in doing so. She is the member who takes care of her body the most as she had one of the healthiest body transformations in KPOP because of healthy and nutritious diets and a healthy workout regime as some people choose to, even are forced to, go on unhealthy diets that lack some nutrients. Unfortunately, her groupmate, poor Momo, went as far as eating nothing but ice cubes for a couple of days, to lose weight.
However, Jihyo's visuals are underrated in South Korea because her unique features end up with the conclusion that, she doesn't need Korean Beauty Standards to be called beautiful, Korean Beauty Standards need her! She fits Western Beauty Standards more and is a lot more popular internationally and a lot more people recognize her as being the beauty goddess she is. She even landed a spot as being one of the most beautiful women in the world along with her groupmates Sana, Chaeyoung, Momo, and of course, Tzuyu (who has won twice). She may be not as popular in SK but in America, she's like in the top 3 most popular if not the most popular members.
