About the lyrics: I don’t see a major problem at all, the only part I’m not a big fan of is the ‘silly girl’. Nowhere was it announced that this song was gonna be a feminist anthem. People saw the name ‘Girls on Top’ and made their own (wrong) assumptions.

(I also think there’s a skewed view on feminism as a whole. Yes feminism is about women supporting women, but not every women. The song is clear to me: a girl persistently trying to get with a taken guy, the guy is annoyed with the girls persistence, the gf is obviously pissed so she’s telling the girl to ‘step back’. )

Policing lyrics is something I can’t relate to I listen to the most cringe songs in English where I can I understand the lyrics why will I care about it in kpop when I have no idea what they’re singing
