-some kpop fans who think too high on themselves judging Big3 "hardwork" as nothing bc rich people don't work hard enough according to their own delusional world.
-a false superiority of some kpop fans that think they are better than all Big3 bc they like unknown or less known artists.

- Money for promotions.
- Exposure for promotions.
- Time to find a fanbase.
- Pressed losers making threads all day about "but the privileges!!1111!"

I'm an unabashed ITZY fan. But I don't think Dalla Dalla was a National Hit either.
I see it as a hit for them. But not national level.
I think national hit is used too often. True national hits come around a couple times a generation.
They're the handful of songs that impact and define generations.
It's overused in my opinion.
But I'm open to arguments. As I said I'm their fan.
You should include HYBE too ( groups debuted after BTS)
Company stans ready at debut guaranteed ✓
Company push, effective overseas promo, mediaplay, exposure, hit songs, brand endorsement deals, cfs, gigs etc guaranteed ✓
In result SUCCESS is guaranteed ✓
+ people are more comfortable to stan big 3+bighit since they know success is guaranteed and the group will go nowhere, they are sceptical about stanning groups from controversial companies like TS, MLD or small or some rando nugu ass company

all the big3 gg got a signature song I
searched for f(x) and they got 2 songs which sold 2-3M copies in Korea even “the least successful SM female groups” have a hits
The gag about national hits is that everyone has a its criteria if I start to tell that DALLA DALLA is national hit someone will disagree and say a song which have an impact or is still covered to till day :
- next level is the closest one but it was released like less than a year ago so the debate never ends...

but koreans only mention NL talking about national hit and i think koreans are in a better position to tell which song is a national hit or not

ifans tend to throw the word national hit at the moment a song isn't doing bad
when Koreans themselves doesn't consider the song enough impactful to be consider as one
You'll have the biggest hordes of haters and jealous, threatened other-group stans, other-company stans and other K-pop fans bashing you and trying to destroy your career (and even push you to suicide or institutionalising) by serial launching vicious fake news narratives, even before you debuted.
Let's not forget that shadow side.
