Why Chungha and Sunmi are flopping now ?

bcos sunmi is overrated and her "look at me im so cool" vibez is boring, gashina wasnt that special either.

chungha is still stuck in 2019, thats why now somi is more successful then her bcos she is fresh

Personally, Sunmi's sound and style is now overused; but I still like her songs.

For Chung Ha, I think they just don't like what she's putting out. Stay Tonight, Play, and Dream of You deserve more recognition.

I don’t know about Sunmi but Chungha’s music quality took a nosedive after Snapping for me. None of her recent stuff has been hitting as good as the older ones.

A mix of songs that weren't obvious hit quality, and a little bad luck. I thought Bicycle was a potential fun hit song (but its sexuality probably hurt its broad appeal), but not the others.

i think sunmi just had a couple of misses with tail and ycswu. not every song is going to be a smash hit. same with chungha. the songs they've released haven't really been great but that doesn't mean their careers are over or anything.

It has been a bit weird lately though. You know the ones that usually do well in Korea like TWICE, Chungha and Sunmi like you said suddenly went somewhere, and some acts surprisingly started doing better.

I would say that Korea is a bit unusual and might be a bit unpredictable. But if I like their music, that would be nice.

I want a new Chungha song

soloists doesnt have big dedicated fanbase like groups they rely on casual listener, casual listeners and gp have changing heart so, there's that

For some of the top female kpop soloists it isn't great.

It's a short list: IU, Taeyeon, Hyuna, Sunmi, Chungha, LeeHi (although she's moving away from kpop) and now Somi.

HwaSa, Lisa, Rose and Jennie if you count group members.
