so i heard a bts song for the first time on spotify in 2018 and i always assumed they were the first group i saw performing!
but a few days ago, i was rewatching a few eps of descendants of the sun and i realized that one scene includes red velvet, the kpop group!!
i never realized it was them lmao
i guess it was because the scene was very brief and i was busy looking at song joonki

I 'discovered' kpop 4 years ago, but I'm pretty sure I heard of it before and I think I checked it out too. I don't remember boy groups who'e mvs I saw, I just know it made me think this is not for me, it's dark and weird haha (it might even be a song I like now, I don't know). But I clearly remember checking out SNSD's Geeand 2ne1's I'm the best, and I really didn't like it - I still don't like those two songs

I was listening to BOF ost before I knew SHINee, it was Stand by me one of my favourites. Before I discovered Red Velvet, I downloaded and listened to the duet OST of Wendy and Seulgi from Red Velvet.

I remember watching SNSD's ITNW and thinking "woahh that's a lot of girls", but that was all about it, it left a neutral impression.
Fast forward to 2009, I came across to BIGBANG & 2NE1's Lollipop, and several clicks later I fell into the void. I should have known better, imagine being free from kpop

Well BTS were the ones to arouse my curiousity again and I gave kpop a chance because of them
When I was in primary school, K-Pop was basically UNKNOWN to my thoughts.
But I really really liked the song. Like really liked it that I found it.
I thought it was an English song! And then it sounded weird, I don't understand the "English" words.
A few years later, I realized that it was a K-Pop song.
That song was "NOBODY by Wonder Girls".
wonder girls nobody... every one was singing it in my primary sch, i didnt even know it was kpop cos i only heard the eng part. only when i came to know kpop after many years, i realized it was a korean/kpop song
Well... watching this video before I knew who Super Junior was. (also before I became an ELF)
