I don’t think so ![]()
Can Travis Scott ever recover from this?

a lot of the clips released paint a terrible picture. It's bad for him.
yeah..it doesn't look good.
too many people died as well.
plus he had tweets that encouraged such behaviors before.
Unfortunately, many celebs who have done terrible things manage to stay in the business.
maybe, he can hang on but I don't think he can reach his peak popularity again.
-
Probably

He'll recover from this. His fans are defending him by saying it's not his job to prevent these things, that these things always happen at such shows, and so on.
It's part of his brand and image. If anything, many fans feel like this adds to his notoriety and shock value. That's just how it goes. This guy tried to incite a riot at a Paris fashion show and even started a mob outside McDonald's when the pandemic began.
If encouraging fans to jump from balconies years ago didn't stop him, this wouldn't do a thing to him, his reputation, and his career. I'm afraid it just contributes positively to it.
-
Fuck him tbh. He previously literally encouraged a fan to jump off the 2nd floor of a concert hall. The man jumped and broke his legs.
Recently I saw a video where he's crowd surfing, somebody allegedly tried to take his shoes and instead of getting security involved he tells his fans to attack the person right there and then which could've ended badly
This is just one more example of his scummy behaviour with severe consequences
-
On a side note, this is exactly why I'm not the biggest enthusiast when it comes to K-pop idols hanging out with American influencers and artists. Way too much hedonism involved, generally speaking. American media and society love glorifying dangerous, irresponsible behavior like this. They see notoriety as a great thing, not taboo at all.

people let fame get to their head...and they act like they're better than the rest of us. he literally uses his fans

that's why i have a hard time supporting alot of western celebs.

I will add to what superyeah said and like most things...where will always be people who "attack" (criticise) and "defend" and TS is no different...
people will criticise him and cancel him but on the other side just as many people will defend him and protect him so at the end of the day it's up to his fans to determine whether they want to continue to support him or not and if enough continue to support him...

It's not kpop, he'll survive definitely

Maybe but I hope not. I guess he will take a long break. People are really hating him right now but I guess he will survive it. Western fans are very forgiveable and there are still many people who defend him.
But in my opinion it isn't only his fault. The security and people behind the scenes saw what happend and I saw no one who tried to stop him. When he is guilty then I see these people as guilty too. He should have acted with more responsibility. as soon as someone gets hurt, there is no excuse for not stopping a concert. I really can't understand people who support him after this.
-
what happened
-
Of course he can but he should be in jail.
-
Unfortunately he will
