exactLY! They thought the units would flop on their own and always made a big deal about FANS combining achievements FANS. Yet now that each unit is doing great and taking their rightful spot, they complain about how unfair it is to separate them lol.
I mean make up your mind. Should NCT be considered one group in these categories and only have one group time stage? Then they would be 8+million sellers for this year alone (probably more but I am making an estimation).
Should NCT units be separated? then they will fill the nominations and rankings by taking more than one spot AND have standard stage time for EACH unit.
and they deliver
When people (often non nctzens) make threads about "Top 5/Top 10 boygroups" they only mention NCT once as a whole to not occupy 2 spots with their units but don't you dare say NCT as a whole is also a group and count all of their sales together or you'll be called delulu and "it's unfair". Being selective and performative concern is fine as long as NCT is in the middle.
