The audacity of some K-Pop fans of 4th Gen groups. Apparently, they think that achievements like Spotify Streams and YouTube Views are a better metric than Touring/Concert Tickets and Album Sales when it comes to International and overall success.
The audacity they have to sh*t on older boy groups like SVT, NCT, EXO, and even 2nd Gen boy group like SHINee for having less Spotify Streams and YouTube Views. They even sh*t on the achievements of disbanded or less active boy groups like GOT7 and iKON.
I'm saying this here because some of them are downplaying SVT's first time charting on Spotify Global Top 200 and slow YouTube Views, and them being an older group. Apparently, for them, that's laughable and pathetic.
When they saw the recent tweets about boy groups, other than BTS, like EXO, SHINee, SVT and NCT have better digitals in South Korea than their faves, they have the audacity to sh*t on their Spotify charting & streams and YouTube views.
They have the audacity to downplay older boy groups' achievements because, apparently, their faves have achieved MORE in a short period of time, compared to older boy groups in their early years.
Why can't they just be happy for their faves' achievements, and let us celebrate & enjoy our OLDER faves' achievements? It ain't that hard.
Let's just hope that nobody here has the same mindset like those ignorant and rude K-Pop fans.
New group = news fans, new fans = more young people and for the most part teenagers newly introduced to kpop won't know of the impact of older generation groups or care about it. On the other hand, older fans won't be as interested in newer groups for the most part so neither side will see eye to eye
