What will be the reaction if a 3rd gen girl group member caught dating with 4th gen boy group member

They were treating Taeyeon as if she was a cougar which is completely ridiculous (and what is she was one anyways) but for Krystal and Kai, they are the same age so they did not really receive backlash regarding the age difference but rather the usual backlash provoked by delulu fans.

It would be the same for a third generation female idol and a forth generation male idol. It would depend on her age which is sad. As long as everyone is an adult, it's no one business.

If she's like Yeri age no one will care since Yeri is younger than some 4th gen male idols

As others said; age difference will matter. Yeri is i believe friends with some stray kids members and stray kids are considered 4th gen yet there is no age diff for them. But imagine Yeri dating someone from enhyphen she will get a lot of hate from fans also that enhyphen is still rookie compared to stray kids and much younger.

in 4th gen; reaction will be mostly on international side with fans attacking the girl. Taeyeon and Baehyun were both from popular groups snsd and exo and exo had the biggest dedicated fandom so the news was not taken well by exols.

I'm less afraid of our reaction more afraid of knetz reaction. Especially if there's no weird age difference and both are working adults, I think nobody should criticize them.
