For me Lovesick Girl's is Blackpink's masterpiece song I wonder if they will ever top it in the future.

It's the song that was needed to cover ice cream mess. It's the song that changed blackpink from idols and ig models to music artists. It's the song that changed the people's perception of blackpink in korea and outside cementing themselves as legends in kpop. So many koreans calling LSG a bigbang song as a compliment because bigbang are legends in kpop and bp reminds them of that. It's the kind of good music that made kpop stans go crazy over blackpink before 2018. Blackpink needed LSG along with pretty savage bside to make people realise once again why they are the girlgroup with best music. Very satisfied with the music in The Album. LSG doesn't have the most streams but a song like that was most needed at that time. Blackpink was getting to a point where it would be considered risky to release a different type of song but i'm glad they got over it with LSG. I'm pretty confident the group will have good longevity if they stay together

LSG is the first song in awhile that wasn't some kinda collab or extremely westernized. AIIYL is arguably BP's best song and it's a sound that a lot of blinks favor. Blinks been wanting another "pink" song and LSG fulfilled that after a long hiatus of questionable releases.

LSG restored my faith in BP's music and kept me a blink. Looking forward to more great songs like this to come...

I never get over with Rosie's part, yet it was needed cus d4-ktl-hylt were more badass song while lsg is more of their pink side. And I loved the album as a whole.

Comparing producers for Ice Cream and Sour Candy, LSG is very tame in comparison and the song is in Korean at least. LSG is in line with what I'd expect a Blackpink song to sound like. That's just my opinion of course.

You're right, they listened to the criticisms & decided against PS as the title which was obviously the initial plan

It gives me hope that we will get even more diverse sounds from BP on their next album
