Idk but congrats NCT!! They started off with quite a few people disliking their concepts and now they're dominating

as far i can see they could easily sell million albums anytime even the not so gp music like sticker are still doing well in the charts.. maybe it's the fandom power already.

I hope nct actually fully utilise the nct concept that they started out with tbh. It will be so interesting to see how it works in its full glory and I hope the fandom number is able to support that.

They have a more hardcore fandom I think Blinks is still bigger though by far.

They are 3rd at most imo, not a blink at all but i'm pretty sure BP have the 2nd biggest kpop group fandom (counting both hardcore and casual fans).

I feel like besides the sales, there’s a huge shift in the fandoms I see in my tl and Insta update accounts. From a group I don’t remember seeing anyone mention to the one with the biggest demand.

I think they're third. I don't think that they've surpassed Blinks yet.

1. BTS obviously (1.3M)

2. BP (280k)

3. NCT (200k)

Another one to look at is premiere views as those are viewers who are ready to watch the MV at its release time and are most likely part of the fandom:

BTS gets around 4M

BP gets around 1-1.6M live premiere viewers for their MVs at premiere

NCTs recent MV premiere had around 200-300k (i think, correct me if i'm wrong).

If this based on sales, I think it is not fair as I know they have too many version of their album plus few sub unit too. Even I can say Exo done it better tbh with little promotion in their last cb. Bp so far the second one after Bts.

currently 127 only has 3 versions out in Korea and they broke hanteo records for SM acts and overall got the 3rd highest first day for a kpop group this year

Both 127 and dream also got over 1M preorders with only 3 versions available, the extra jewel case was announced later.

And btw the info available shows nct 2020 had the 3rd biggest online concert attendance last year, behind BTS and BP.
