Not really, but the delay of the album only for material to drop with a lot left to be desired both in audio and visuals was a disappointment.
I don't understand how it hurt Irene's image when so many people loved her for "cold look".
But no I don't think it hurt the group. They sold 300k albums (roughly 100k more than their last release), charted well, and Queendom won 7 times on music shows. I think it's safe to say they're still doing pretty well.
Not really. It her was her personal problem, nothin to do with the rest of them.
If anything that re-lit the spark around RV.
No, it would have been bad if multiple people started coming forward with negative experiences about Irene. Luckily for her it was only one person and they resolved the situation.
People keep saying it will affect Irene's image, but she's still going to be more relevant and popular than like 99% of the inudstry. And in about a year or so, nobody will even remember or care about this controversy. Only antis who use it as a justification for sending her hate.
I don't think it did that much damage to the group (it really helps the other girls are known to be kind and humble so the general public and casual fans are still checking on them) but yeah she f*cked it up only for herself. All brand deals she had dropped her and since the scandal she's been "hiding" except for the Queendom comeback. No news of cfs, no solo schedules activities just nothing. Her selling power is still crazy tho. Hope she can get some deals next year.
RV as a group are doing fine I think. Queendom is still top 20 on korean charts after a month.
