My hair was once until my butt. Then yeah it was hard to wash every day because it would get very damp but I spent a lot of time making sure it was clean and smelled nice.

aaa I don't know. If I go without washing more than a week, my hair gets too oily so once a week seems to work for me. Not sure if it's like because of my hair type or if it has to do with the products I use.
I use conditioner and shampoo that has like protein in it to like strengthen my hair, so idk. Maybe that helps?

You're so lucky. I have a sensitive scalp which means I can't wash my hair every day but I also have to wash it every time it greases even a little and then my scalp gets irritated as well. So like every 2 to 3 days.

I'm glad that your scalp isn't sensitive at least! That's good.
I'm on my fourth dermatologist prescribed shampoo and it doesn't make a difference for me unfortunately but I have faith that sometime in the future I will find something that works for me.

i used to have super long hair as well, and then i chopped it to a few inches above my elbows. it used go just a little higher than my hips.

my heart dropped and i cried when the lady was cutting it. the sacrifices i made to get layers. to make matters worse the lady was talking to the other woman working and they were both like why are you cutting your beautiful long hair and im like just cut it woman im already regretting this 🥲
I FEEL YOU ABOUT THE HAIRDRESSER PART. When I bleached my hair my hairdressers were all “omg your hair is so black so healthy why would you want to bleach it” and it’s like…OK I AM ALREADY CRYING JUST DO IT PLS FKWKCKWKCKWKCKWOS
