Who is the greatest of all time?
Every kpop group is forced to disband after year 5...

SNSD

emanresu what is Twice final comeback by this rule?
Dance The Night Away I think

SNSD
Maybe. Wouldn't that mean The Boys would be their final comeback?
-
-
BP? since they probably aren't getting out of their dungeon any time soon

I’m biased, obviously.
But I genuinely believe that LY: Tear is right up there with the very best they have ever done. Hell, just TEAR as a B Side alone might be enough for me.
Obviously, you’re not going to agree.
Also, I am reeeeeeeeally glad they didn’t actually leave it after that album like might have happened, but if they had.. pretty incredible way to go out.

Yes

Yes
What a way to go out! This would also mean we wouldn't get that overrated mess IGAB.

(I might have misremembered, but Tear was the first K pop album to hit the top in the west, no? I think that would be enough for a lot of people to claim it was the most influential or ground-breaking within that time period. Yes, yes, I know we’re all bots mass-buying and streaming etc.)

DTNA? Then I'm confused on what OP is asking. Isn't he asking what would be their last comeback if they disbanded after year five?
DTNA came out 3 years after their debut...

Seventeen was a million seller with 2 different mini albums in 2020, that would make them double million sellers in a single year.
Semicolon would be their last album. Emotional tbh (considering the meaning of the concept).
They'd be a strong candidate imo.
Edit: I'm not even counting their records with Fallin' Flower in Japan.

Well definitely I'd say.
And you know what 'Outro : Tear' from LY : Tear was based on the disbandment. They were thinking about disbanding during the start of 2018. Idk why though (probably they had only 5 year contract). But in imaginary world if they had disbanded then with 'Outro : Tear' being their last song (my favourite from them) and being the first ever Korean artist to go #1 on BB200, it would have been great. I'm glad they didn't though coz you can see what they have gone on to do since then. And music after that has been great with 'Answer', 'Persona', 7, 'BE' and many unofficial releases as well.

lmao at the last sentence.

bts at 5th year already amazing with 8m album sales, sold out stadium concerts, metacritic score for tear of 74 and first ever k-idol song to go into top billboard hot 100 top 10. not bad at all!!!
edit: forgot about Unicef love yourself campaign. that's massive.
