While I agree I'd love to see that and that the above characterization is funny (points for the pseudo-alliteration), I think that's a bit myopic. I've seen lots of weddings use it of course, but also sports shows and as workout music. It's basically good music to move to and isn't that what basically music is about?
But I'd definitely love to see them drop another Mic Drop, yes indeed.

I don't want to, but I agree with you.
I prefer their korean comebacks, I liked Dynamite and after that they gave us BE which I love, but after that I would be okay with just Butter, but Butter + PTD era it has been so long and the two songs don't do it for me, they don't have the essense their korean songs have and I'm tired of these english songs.
And imo english songs are like their japanese songs, they release them to cater to that territory and they are an addition to their korean discography, but people are more tired about them because of the long promo.
But I'm sure their next comeback is a korean album and they will comeback strong.

P.P.S A hip hop producer who has written for Drake, Nicki, Travis Scott, and has been waiting to work with BTS since 2018 tweeted about how he finally received a mail to send in his music. So hip hop Bangtan is definitely coming back soon.
