Melon Top 100 is stabilised?

It's 8pm. If i don't see bts at no.1 or no.2 at 1.00 am or 7am, then we can say the new chart did something atleast.

the not stable parts are outside of top15

top 10 seems stable. we can't say the say for those below. LOL.

yeah it`s a bit of a mess bellow top 10 and i guess we still have to see how things will go since it`s only the first day so we shouldn`t judge too soon, but even if they The Boyz started dropping i still think they can remain in top 100 and it will be intresting to see how bgs with even bigger fandoms do like NCT and 17 with this changes, but some parts of mass streming are back for sure

also it`s understandable if fans would manage to chart like 13 songs from the album in top 100 of course it annoys ppl who look at the charts to see which songs are doing well but see a bunch of streaming going on

Not really? Once groups on bigger tier like svt, nct dream, exo comes back, they can probably chart within top5/10 on the chart. What you’re seeing is basically just groups being stable now lol.

Heck you see LYM with bad daily ULs but is pulling out numbers due to realtime ULs. If AF was released on this chart, it’d probably have better charting. And upcoming RV title would for sure do numbers on this chart.

There's no way tbz fans managed enough "mass streams" in one hour to chart that high. It was an effect of downloads and rise in uls since it's a new song. Are you all going to ask fans to not download their faves songs now too? Because they are doing fraud and manipulations by just listening to their faves?

All idol groups will have an advantage in this new system. So stop complaining about bgs exclusively.

Downloads were counted on 24hits too, though. This new top100 seems to intentionally bloat hourly ULs so that it’s toe-to-toe worth as much as daily ULs (which goes as high as 6 digits). That’s why a 30k hourly UL can get u that high and a 3k hourly UL difference within top10 is “valuable” even if your song has lesser daily ULs (i think, 40k difference or so).

Obviously, the following hour is also a test if that UL count can keep up.

Obviously! But that is so far from the point. Listening to it is one thing, but under a substantial ordinal number, it’s a bit disingenuine compared to the 24hits. LYM is a proof that mass streaming is back and can bloat their ranking compared to songs that were consistently getting better daily ULs. All because hourly UL is bloated to go 50% toe-to-toe with daily ULs. Which, i believe, is a bad representation of what the rank should be 🤷

Let see what happen at around 12:00 - 1:00. If the boy groups all rise at that time then this change is bullshit.

Tbh idk why yall are mad. LYW will still conquer Top3 on old real time charts during frozen hours. It happened even during BTS CB and It will still happen now. The most important chart will still be daily charts anyway. The only bummer is that real time chart will no longer reflect the daily numbers (but now we get to see all the uls on Top100 now so we can deduce what will be on the Top100 Melon Daily anyway). At least during 24hits we can see once the song rise on 24hits then it'll def rise on Melon daily as well.

You are wrong about LYW. take a look at his total and daily stream of this year. The song was released April 2020, yet his stream is number 1 on daily and yearly. Not even BTS can beat him with fandom and GP support.

Im Young-woong is 15 now and boyz have 6 songs on melon
