True but fans are the reason idols are successful. I mean, they are basically their money suppliers. Once they lose fans, they have got nothing, as in, no one will buy their albums, stream their songs etc. Not saying that fans can demand things but I see where they come from as well.

I also won't call them entitled as they are simply asking for better output which, imo, they can in an appropriate and nice manner as they spend their own money on idols.

I could not agree more. You can't advocate for idols' control over their own career and complaining each time that they make a wrong step for you. Sometimes the complains are only about their work but sometimes it's also about their personal life. We are no one to judge them as long as they are not hurting anyone.

Yes. One thing that gets on my nerves is at fansigns when fans force (yes it's forcing, they have no choice unless they want a controversy) to recite cringy lines, aegyo or do other embarrassing things

It's true, but also let's not pretend that the idol industry do not rely heavily on the parasocial relationships fans have with their idols.

Fans should know their limits, but companies really tries their best to pretend boundaries don't exist.

They're people, just like me. Claiming ownership of how they should live their own life is awful and creepy as hell.

I like their music and on-camera personalities. That's all I am as a fan + consumer.

I don't think it's controversial on AKP??? but maybe on other platforms or social media?
