I don't care who you think paved the way or whatever but because of Kpops big break, when a lot of the big 3 groups like twice, blackpink, red velvet, BTS, and whoever else disbands Kpop will be perfectly fine. With all the new younger fans, they will stick around. I don't get why Kpop fans don't have trust in Kpop, Kpop companies have taken notes from BTS and have supposedly cracked the code, kind of. But do you think these big 3 groups will allow this fame to sizzle away? nope. Just wait, when BTS disbands there are going to be 500 7-8 member boy groups debuting in the us. (Thanks SM, they started this trend)
I don't get why we even measure success based on what Americans think. Just because your not winning a Grammy (which btw everyone seems to be able to win by now) Doesn't mean your not popular. America treats Kpop like a joke anyway.
And if all else fails, we'll still have NCT and their 100 members to fall back on, by then NCT will be everywhere... even at your local McDonald's singing the menu to you.
And also, Kpop has been perfectly fine before BTS, it's not like BTS are the saviours of Kpop... If that was so, then why are so many groups still flopping...why isn't blackpink chilling at the Grammys? Hmm..."oh it's because they don't have grammy worthy songs" well. look at how that turned out.
The world doesn't revolve around America and the Grammys and the stupid interviewers that ask Kpop groups about American politics. Plus, if the Kpop fame does die down, then we'll FINALLY get good music again, no more influence from American fans #girlcrush. Remember in 2nd gen? Remember VIXX? Remember girls generation!? exactly. #2ndgenstan #5thgenslay
Plus, we'll have no more English versions. Extinct. Please. I don't want to hear it. No more. All English songs... It's haunting me actually...
