Yujin is the successor of Kaeun. Mnet is really stupid, if they didn't rigged out Jinhyuk they wouldn't get into trouble.

And I don't think anything will happen, some years later they make another reality and the cycle remains.

Exactly! On top of the rigging, it's boring too, we know what is gonna happen because they keep recycling storylines each season. The underdog who is terrible at the beginning who everyone roots for and they win, the person who debuted years ago but gets rigged out because they're too old, the contestant who has an attitude problem at the beginning of the series who says something controversial to generate buzz. Literally same old shit again and again. Why anyone would get invested in this show is beyond me.

Judging from the consequences they got from the last time, why not? Sure they lost credibility and potential money during the scandal period, but overall not much really happened to the higher-ups besides some fall guys getting some thousands of dollar fines and a couple years sentences for maybe a couple of them.

Also are we gonna talk about how the courts said Mnet wasn't allowed to do one of these shows again, but like one year later they literally just said "screw you, we'll do what we want"

Just don't get too invested, Mnet has a special skill of taking all the international fans' faves, keeping them around for awhile, then eliminating them.

They don't have to rig votes, they already manipulate the audience through editing, not just limited to creating false narratives or shoving trainees in your faces.

I think at this point mnet is expected to be rigging and if it turns out that they were straight forward then we'd be surprised...

they are using a third party voting system (universe) for a reason and I think I also heard something about vote monitoring? Either way, I don't think there will be a lot of rigging even if it does happen (but I doubt it would).

I do however expect a lot of evil edits and angel edits and screen time bias and favoritism.
