What if irene leaves red velvet and koeun and Hina are added to the group?

Terrible idea. Yeri already got so much hate when she joined Red Velvet. These two don't deserve that hate, and it would cause a schism in the fans.

Yeri got witchhunted by reveluvs for joining the group tho even tho she was teased in the debut mv. A gg with strong solo fandoms or akgaes is a bad place to add new members. They'll be seen as a threat not an addition to the group.

I get your idea tbf but the member adding concept should stay within groups like nct. I feel rv was supposed to be similar but looking at how yeri turned out I dont think they would or should put another girl through that.

I agree, Red Velvet is a senior group so there's no reason for them to switch out members. And I wouldn't want these girls to get backlash and hate and I have a feeling that if this did happen, it would be a lot worse. Yeri came after one comeback, but these girls would be entering after 7 years. I would say that 7 years would be 7x the hate or definitely a lot more

Irene is very popular, especially in Korea. I don't think it'd fare well with anyone.

This is the worst take I've seen in a while.

Maybe if RV had just debuted they might have been added, but not this late in a group's career.

Also, it's beyond ironic seeing when people who've been the most hardcore bashers/shaders of RV, RV members and RV fans, trying to use the Yeri addition as yet another opportunity to shade RV fans - showing they haven't changed their habit of RV/Reveluv bashing in all these years

Yeri was often and still is being used by non-RV fans (like JYP stans, other-group stans, RV/SM antis etc, the usual people) to bash either Red Velvet for all kinda stuff or as a 'fake concern' argument to bash and shade RV fans.

Real fact is that Koeun and Hina could've been added to RV just like Yeri did, and would have prospered and have their own activities just like Yeri and the other members have.

But SM for whatever reason chose not to, and while the SM Rookies thing worked really well for NCT members pre-debut, for the remaining SM Rookies girls after RV debuted it hasn't worked out, unfortunately.

That would be a horrible idea with absolutely not benefits. If anything it will throw off the group and make them lose long time fans When a member leaves an established group, the best thing is to just let the rest of the lineup continue to promote, not try and replace them and "fix" the group. That's hardly even a good thing to try on rookie groups.

LSM has no plans to remove Irene and add others...
