Do people get triggered by threads, only when they are made by certain people?

  • What a pity for you, who only lives for drama.

    Oh yes, drama

  • I'm not great at starting a topic. I'm bad at wording things, so people might misunderstand my intention.

I also don't have a good record, so if anything happens on my thread I get blamed for it.

But again, making threads seems like such a hard work. I would rather take part in a discussion.

Just do a 'I love xxx' if that can turn into a fanwar I applaud you

  • He turned into an electric guitarist for this sub-unit comeback, the bass would have to retire for a while

    I admire the versatility.

Oh, don't worry about the blame shaming, the users who quote you are majority s and do the things they blame you for :pepepizza:

Look at me. Almost every week i make threads and honestly it's interisting when people do give respectful opinions and you can "learn" more about the subject.

  • I don’t even need to make a Thread, getting the same reaction with a comment alone… totally harmless but some will act as if I insulted their mothers… :eyes: ^^

no for real YES! Some people already have their premeditated opinion ready the moment they see the title and who the OP is. At that moment they skip the op and go straight to the comment section, addressing things you didn’t even said in the first place, totally missing the point and the Thread gets detailed.

We saw what happened in the PTS vs DFTF Thread 😅

You are cursed. Every time I see a thread made by you i already enter knowing hell broke loose and fighting it's all that matters kkkkkkk

  • Oh yes, drama

But unfortunately you often get no drama

  • There are some messy users that are apart of my own fandom that always make shady threads/comments, and even if they are posting an innocent thread praising my faves, I still want to :pepe-cut:

  • Of course a lot of people get selectively triggered, there's a lot of tribalism going on, which should be obvious to anyone paying attention and being honest to themselves :wellr:

You can see it when posters enter a thread where a fanwar/flamewar is going on, and they automatically pick the side of the poster(s) that's someone of their own guild or known fan of 1 of the bias groups they stan themselves - even if that poster actually started the baiting or shading.

Or vice versa, when people automatically start to attack, insult or shade another poster, just because that poster was a fan of a group they themselves hate/dislike.

Or when people automatically assume the worst and the most negative intentions when someone who isn't part of their guild or fandom posts something, like they'll be forgiving and tolerant when someone of their own guild/fandom writes a critical review about their bias group or their song(s0, but go into full blown personal attack 'n shade mode when a non-fan posts a critical review about their bias group or their song(s).

Or how people claim it's 'constructive criticism' when they or others comment something critical or slightly negative about a group that isn't their bias - or their songs, talents and achievements - but instantly declare everyone 'haters' and 'antis' and everything 'bashing' when posters write something critical or slightly negative about those people's own biases. With the exception if it's someone of their own guild or fandom writing something critical, because then people don't mind.

It isn't even really K-pop related: you see a whole mountain of examples in American politics, everywhere all the time: everything wrong someone of one's own 'tribe' (their own political faction) does gets forgiven, the slightest thing someone of the 'other side' says or does wrong gets blown up to mountainsize proportions. Tribalism and double standards to the extreme.

It is how it is :wellr:
