Honestly I feel it could get toxic? Like insulting looks, racism, etc could possibly happen. I've seen kpop stans not on this site but on others going that low in fanwars

There are certain users on here that I’m curious about what they look like, just to know whether their appearance matches their ugly personalities. Especially the ones who have serious internalised misogyny issues.

but i do believe being anonymous makes many people much more harsh than they'd be in real life. i don't believe for a second that people would fight and throw personal insult at each other in real life because they stan rival artists lol.

Absolutely. I think there’s a human element to seeing someone’s face or even just hearing someone’s voice.
When we are reading opinions we disagree with, our minds force us to imagine the individual as a despicable antagonist or villain.
It’s important to remember they might be more similar to us or our loved ones than we think. The person you’re so enraged by might even be someone you know, like a family member or someone in your circle of friends. It’s the Internet and AKP is the biggest English-language K-pop community. There is a chance one of your online enemies is someone close to you.

Oh I didn't know that, I've been on AKP as a guest for a couple of months but only made an account today so maybe that's why I haven't seen it.

I meany hypothetically, if users were forced to use their real pictures as their profile pic (I know that would never happen)
