Destructive fan behavior should not be rewarded. It’s easy as that. Stay in boundaries and behave normally instead of being obsessed
If you like your "fav" you wouldn't make them hatable due to your nastiness especially since your hate 90% of the time baseless not coming from defense. These people are obvious and you can differentiate them from real toxic fans if you look closer. Many mindless users "pretend" to be fans of the ones they actually hate so they make their fans reputations bad. You would think a group shouldn't be judged by their fans but it's inevitable that many people would be turned off from liking a group if most of their fans are annoying.

A toxic fan is taking advantage of liking an idol in order to be a 𝒹𝒾𝒸𝓀𝒽𝑒𝒶𝒹.
They belittle other fans who aren’t obsessed thus destroying the fan community.
You can be a fan without being a 𝕕𝕚𝕔𝕜𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕕.

Because fans think of their fandoms like a cult or a religion, there's always a tendency to defend their fandom and clean its slate. So they're not willing to accept and claim toxic people who ruin the fandoms image.
If only those people understood that ultimately the only thing they have in common is liking the same artist, and that that's not an enough reason to feel they represent you or that you represent them.
Some people are just toxic, so toxic people also exist within a fandom.
Are they fake? Well if they really support a Group they aren’t really fake… but they ain’t really needed either. Nobody wants to claim them, but some fans still get upset if the toxic ones in their fandom get called out. They see it as an attack on the whole fandom.

But some toxic fans buy and stream while the sweet stans don't spend even 1 cent for their idols. Who do you think the idols will appreciate more? Fans who remain silent and don't defend them or those who not only defend them but also buy their music?
Well they’d have to be to carry on like that. A true fan doesn’t hate on other groups or fandoms and respects other’s opinions.
