If the most popular get scandal so their delulu fans will always defended them ....

the big company privilege is a funny thing to me because i just think that's how the world works... forgetting about kpop, in the real world, the people who get hired by a big company because they graduated from a good university, or they have superior skills, or they have a connection in the company, naturally make more money than those who get hired by a smaller company... is it always fair? no. but that's the way things are

For the third one, I think it has more to do with vocal color and who fits the song more. For example, Jeongyeon and Jisoo are both the second-best vocalists in technicality and lead vocalists in their respective groups. However, they both have vocal colors that don't necessarily compliment their members, or maybe their vocal color doesn't suit every line. So I mostly disagree with that point.

Nope. I stay for the music. I'm also active in the J-Pop and American Hip-Hop/RnB and US/UK Pop scenes as well.

2) half agree. Depends on group. Some big 3 groups actually synergize really well and are also very competitive (dance or vocal-wise) or a true embodiment of their concept. Moreso, charming points/charisma are very much real. Like, imagine if Sana didn’t debut.

-1. Visuals are important in every music industry. Even in the West; young and attractive singers are more popular. Most idols are attractive; otherwise they wouldn't have got to debut; but not all of them have same number of fans.
2. Yes big 3 groups have privilege. But their companies expect bigger returns from them than smaller company groups. Big company groups have to achieve more and be on top to uphold their company brand and finances. i don't think big 3 boy groups are having a good time when bts overtook all of them by a huge margin.

4. Success stanning is easier because you get to join a bigger fandom and feel belonged. New kpop fans get recommended top groups songs so that's what they watch and end up liking. With a populaar group; it's easy to engage for new fans with lots of content; eng subs available; fanmade contents Unfortunately smaller groups lack that.

- My biases Jihyo and Jeongyeon in TWICE got my attention because of visuals but talent and personality are what I appreciate more, applying for the whole TWICE.

- TWICE is under JYP so they might have privilege, but they went through hard times to get into TWICE and be successful.
- Members who get few lines just aren’t that good at vocals or other members are much better
- Jeongyeon, one of the best vocalists in the group doesn't have that much lines compared to other members, and she is better (no hate).

- Success stanning is actually stressful dealing with newspapers who hate your faves or other fandoms calling them flops. TWICE's music is what I listen to the most, and I am happy with the girls. Stanning them takes me a whole year, and I don't regret it.

3. True because they themselves also think that way (that their precious members are The best). And accepting that fact makes them not care if they get fewer lines. Bcs they usually get more screen time. Balance is key.
4. Very true for a lot of people. Boasting about achievements and impact like theres no tomorrow. I cant relate, because my nugu group dont attend award shows, the only award shows they go is their own award shows. And I love it. Bcs its more entertaining that proper award shows bcs its just them.
