There are haters, antis, who're doing everything to lure gullible netizens and ifans into hating on the idols they targeted with all kinda fake news and rumors.

And sadly, many fall for it and never bother to factcheck.

I think it'll make them stronger. Prepare them and getting them ready for the top.

Whit great success comes a lot of hate

I hate to see it happening -- they have a normal success but people insist on hurting them for it.

People who spread negativity by bullying the celebrities are the same people who cry for justice when any celebrity get engaged with any controversy, hypocrisy at its finest. Companies really freaking need to take legal actions for their artists instead of thinking about their own freaking benefits.

[1] this kind of fighting is hard to understand and takes time to sort out the knowledge. I see that social medias do catch up eventually but lots of it relies on crowd reporting and since it is often abused but social media has to launch an investigation for each report - their systems are often overwhelmed and underinformed. I wish that companies will expand with and think to consult with knowledgeable people -- their moderation systems are woefully understaffed.

[2] yea I hate to see it -- especially when there are genuinely good communities on twitter. Even wholesome tweets are sometimes open to vitriol "just because its twitter" and their excuse usually comes down to that and "if you can't stand it, go somewhere else." it really takes an ironhide to stick and build a normal community there. I come from first and foremost nsfw art on twitter and people are all kinds of toxic against us. Its how we feed ourselves and often we don't promote all kinds of sin that they accuse us of. I ended up just being a lag poster -- giving lots of time between tweets to keep myself flying under the radar; if they can't see me, they can't hit me.

Aespa really doesn't deserve hate. Why can't people be respectful???

Well, the other side of the coin to this is that Aespa is getting a lot of love too! I don't think we can ever truly stop the hate, but we can continue to show them all of the love and support! I think that goes a long way in uplifting them!

I remember the hate BoA got when she debuted. H.O.T and S.E.S had disbaned and fangirls and fanboys believed that SM disbanded them in favor of debuting BoA so they said all sorts of horrible stuff about her. They called her (a 13 year-old at the time), Lee Sooman's second and said she was only getting to debut because she slept with him. They also accused her of pimping herself out to all the high officials in the industry. They accused her of drinking, drugs, ANYTHING they could think of to ruin her image. That's part of why her debut in Korea flopped.

It's only when she became hugely popular and hit #1 in Japan did the hate subside. No.1 then cemented her position as a solo artist in Korea.

Aespa did get a lot of hate at the beginning but there hasn't been much hate on them these days other than ningning. Many of her videos of hers have hate comments, majority from koreans, but some ifans too. Calling her a fat pig, hating on her for looking like jennie, hating for her being chinese, discrediting her singing ability, saying that she eats dogs, wishing bad things to happen to her.. some really awful things. those comments get lots of upvotes too. Just to be clear there are also good comments on her from koreans/ifans, and some people call out the hate so hopefully it will get better for her too.

That's really sad but as many have said that's the reality of coming from a big3 company and being popular. Ning seems to be mentally strong and the girls seem very tight and support each other. I'm sure they will get through this and become even bigger and better!

Having a hatter is inevitable, there is always someone hate you even in the smallest thing. I hope they stay strong, they still have a long way to go

I knew you were going to do this. LOOK AROUND. Armys are congratulating Aespa. Even on twt and when its twt you know how it is. Aespa had a lot of haters since pre-debut. Their debut song Black Mamba had 1/5 stars way before this whole "Next Level dethroned Butter thing". Armys are focusing on bb not melon.

I can't even imagine how stressful that period was for them.

This always happens when a new group has a lot of success, haters just want to put them down. I thumb my nose at them as I think Aespa are doing a great job with a great song and they should feel proud of what they’ve done so far. I’ve got a lot of respect for these girls and it’s just because people are jealous of their achievements. I just wish non fans would leave them alone.

It happened from the beginning of the debut until now

Now it get worse when they are able to reached #1 on melon, I saw at least 1 trending antis post about aespa on pann everyday like ps allegation, hating on foreign members, ex rookies more deserved to debut, etc. Even more the haters post get a lot of likes

I'm not saying this is okay, but I think if they want to stay on the top they will have to endure this. Literally every artists that is big will get as much haters. The good thing is they have each other. They are close so I hope they can support each other.
